Health Checkup of National Health Insurance Service

01General Checkup

Target : householders, employer-provided policyholders, family members over 20 years old and dependents, medical benefit recipients aged 19 to 64 years old (every 2 years but annually for labor workers)

02National Cancer Screening

  Stomach cancer, colon cancer, liver cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer, lung cancer

03Infant Health Checkup

  Health checkup for infants from 4 to 71 months of age

Special Health Checkup

The special health checkup is conducted for the purpose of early detection and prevention of occupational diseases for workers engaged in work exposed to harmful factors in accordance with Article 130 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act.

Other Checkups

We provide all services related to other health checkups, including recruitment physical inspection designated by the Ministry of Justice, general employment, health inspection for public officials and companies, and health exams related to various certificates.

Precautions for Health Checkups
  • Please have a light dinner before 9 o'clock the day before the exam and fast after 9 o'clock.
  • You cannot have breakfast on the day of the exam, not merely drinking water, coffee, milk, or juice, chewing gum, and having any other food. Smoking is not allowed either.
  • You should take the exam as early as possible in the morning, and fast for at least 8 hours before the exam.
    (The results may be different when you take the exam after you consume something to eat.)
  • For sleep endoscopy, you need a company and you are not allowed to drive a car.
  • If you are taking blood pressure medication, take it with a small amount of water on the day of the exam, and bring your diabetes medication to take after the exam.
  • If you are taking an anticoagulant or antithrombotic drug as blood pressure medications, you should consult with your doctor before taking the drug as there may be a risk of excessive bleeding during endoscopic biopsy or polypectomy.
  • For pregnant women or those who may become pregnant and those who are menstruating, the exam is not allowed. If you are breastfeeding, mammograms are not allowed.
